ECU tune.

Whats confusing about the CB tunes are they offer software stage 1, 2 or 3 tunes AND also sell Power Package Stage 1 and Stage 2.

For example the Power package stage 2 has cooling components and stage 3 software and Power package stage 1 has cooling components and stage 2 software.

I had stage 1 software for about 18 months then changed to Power package 1 (software stage 2 with heat exchanger and 3.5 MAP sensors) waiting for INtercoolers to arrive then power package 2 (stage 3 software)

Very impressed with the drivability and performance improvements from Carbahn Software and mods.

Did you install the 3.5 bar map sensors in the intake manifold yourself? Any tricks to getting in there?

The reason i asked is because i have heard from some ppl that its also a trans flash but i didnt know if it was true because they dont say anything about it… but i just got the stage 1 on my car yesterday and im very happy with it, after one day lol, it pulls up top harder than i expected, i thought it would be more torquey down low but it is stronger up top, but like i said i have only had it for a day so need more seat time, but its amazing so far

Carbahn San Jose did the MAP sensors. They told me its much harder to add those than add the heat exchanger. Apparently you have to remove lots things.

Sorry I can be much help there.

Talking to steve dinan about it he says they are very careful about how the flash tune demands torque and thus protecting the trans etc...But there is no improvements in shift speed etc that a direct TCU tune might offer. I think they've done an exceptional job with the ECU tune - the factory TCU tune seems to have adapted very well to the carbahn flash.

CB does not tune TCU. I am running Power Package Stage 2 (Stage 3 software). Loving every bit of this.
If you want a faster tune - go the custom tune route with ABP or Utku.

They did the work for me at the SJ office as well. David and Chris were awesome and super helpful. I even got to meet their tuner, Ani, super nice guy and sooo knowledgeable.

I need a draggy to record my times.

I have the stage 2 performance controller (piggyback not full unlock flash) and on 93 octane, map 5, launch control, this is my best so far.

I have similar experience, everyone has been great and I too met their tuner... he was kind enough to remove the fake pops and crackles for me. BTW Chris and Steve (Dinan) are in Colorado these days.

Sent you a pM.
