Build Question

So I'm exploring making some changes to my setup and just curious on everyone's thoughts

Downpipes
So I'm thinking of scrapping the ER primaries and secondaries for either Keller or MSRs. This is primarily power related because I'm thinking the extra 0.5" in those setups vs ER will help with my power given the boost levels I'm targeting on e30.

My concern is sound. The ERs paired Witt the m performance exhaust sound freakiNg AMAZINg. I'm curious how much louder Keller and MSR are going to be relative to ER. Similar are the MSRs louder than Keller?

My second concern is on power. Is MSR more powerful than Keller. I know we are probably taking peanuts in difference but I'm shooting for the most possible power.

Intakes

So I'm debating eventuri, gruppe, or MSR. Issues are similar: power vs noise. My understanding is the eventuri is possibly the weakest but louder than gruppe. Gruppe has better power due to the closed system but quieter. How about the MSRs? Does anyone know how they stack in terms of power and noise ? Also, while I'm leaning towards MSR due to package pricing, I've read some issues regarding washing the car and it sucking in dust (at least for one guy in the desert) given the intake placement.. any body have any thoughts hear

Exhaust
So MSR system looks like it's just an axel back system. And it's expensive. And I assume it's really loud. Anybody have this and can speak to the volume vs my current setup (ERs and m performance exhaust). Also any benefit of going car back bs axel back? Should I look at diff setup?

I would also look at AWE for intake. AWE grill inlets look interesting and very large. I had eventuri and I was not impressed..

I have the awe intakes and the grill inlets. The inlets are cool and the intakes sound really nice. For the first month or so, the intake tube carbon looked great. After that, the heat got to them...the finish looks milky and really bad.

If you were starting from new, going with a tapered DP would be the time to make that decision. Taper is a great theory, but if you are keeping a 3" behind it, changing from a non taper to a taper is just wasting money. You might get 5hp, you might get nothing.

ER/Keller/Lusso will all work, power is the same no matter which brand you choose. Sound is very similar as well.

Best sounding exhaust in my opinion is REMUS.

Downpipe + REMUS is scary
