Price for low miles '18 with a"minor" accident

I saw an '18 m5 pop up in ads, checked the car fax, and noticed it had a "minor" front end accident listed. Was curious about what I might be able to get it for, or should I just stay away?

the cars have lost so much money already, so it's cheap either way. might as well get a clean one.

But on the other hand, if it got hit in the rear or something minor, you could use it to your advantage to negotiate. Make sure you know what you're looking at, most people dont.

i saw a local m5 that carfax said had "minor damage" which it really didnt (almost the entire front of the car was repainted)

PPI it by some one knowledgable and even then id want at least 15% off the market knowing full well how much of a pain in the ass its going to be to sell it later

If it was a minor cosmetic scrape then no worries. But make sure it wasn't anything more. If you search the threads you'll see the oil cooler sits way out there integrated into the front bumper and several people on this forum have nicked that cooler - some even seized their engine because of it and needed to do a full engine replacement. Look really close at the radiator network in the front end - and if you decide your really serious about the car then I would have an respected independent mechanic take a peek in that area for your own piece of mind.

the entire front "could've" been repainted for chips, or vandalism. Doesn't have to be collision. See this on a daily basis.
