For springs you have a few options but, for the best stance I would go with the 550i springs. They look great and will work with the stock wheel or if you go with 21's. If you do keep stock wheels I would suggest getting spacers to set that stance a tad wider and getting rid of that gap.
If you want handling more than stance you can pay the big bucks and get the full coilovers but they sit a little higher in the front. The car already handles pretty damn well for a tank so I'm not sure how much more you can do aside from putting the car on a 1000lb diet :P

Appreciate it. Random question... Is there a big difference between the 19 and 20 M5C's? Already put in my order but just want to know I'm not over shooting...

I believe the cockpit is different and possibly the lights (laser).

You are getting a comp.
Handling is on rail already. Lowering is pretty much for aesthetic. Wheel spacer will give you a better looks and believe it or not, better traction too. While between 19 and 20, main difference is the live cockpit and iDrive7. The rest are still the same.

Thanks. Added some carbon to the build:
BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber Kidney Grilles BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber Side Grilles BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber Front Splitter BMW M Performance Carbon Pro Rear Spoiler Definitely going to get the M550i springs, wheel spacers and ACG Carbon Kevlar Brake Pads. What size spacers are folks running? Will stick with stock wheels for some time. Expect an early March delivery!! |
