I want to believe the 9s are possible but both of the 60s aren't quite bad enough for me to think he can pickup a tenth and half or more—only time will tell.

@gtenedio: are you able to take it to the track?

Maybe try adding some wax to the bottom so it goes across the water a little smoother=faster

I think it's pretty close already!

BTW: 9s have been achieved in an F90 according to Dragy's leaderboard; Ramen performance or something. I've no idea if his interior was stripped or the like...

Looks like you boys have some company :P

Believe it or not, this was on map2. Trap speed isn't very high but 1/8 mile and 330ft was solid. 60ft wasn't my best either. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here. I wasn't planning to anything special, we just finished tweaking map2 some and timing was dropping a bit so I added some race gas and bam. Pleasant surprise

The road is kinda bumpy to start but it's all I got.

I'll start messing with map6 where we can really make some gains but we have rain coming all week and next week I'm leaving town

Amazing that you guys are tied down to 2 decimal places!

I'm beginning to question my assertion that 9s aren't possible with a stock interior and without other extensive mechanical mods—these are early numbers and given time to iterate, a drag strip and race fuel... perhaps.

Looking at the logs, the most boost added was 5.3. I still have room to go. But, who knows really. So many factors

So Id assume you have some decent unsprung weight loss in the CCB's and the HRE's no? The 706's are boat anchors and even the CE wheels are heavier. Thats got to help you in the roll. Great runs brother--- and also to gtenedio.

Thanks bro!

yea, I think that's most definitely a factor in all of this.

Stock interior?

So extended leather IS quicker than full leather?
What about trim? More or less power with carbon trim or piano black finish?

Now that's funny.

But, yes, HT has a full interior.

That said, we figure he's up to 100Ib less than most M5s because he's unbelievably short and resembles a skeleton in physique. I jest of course—he's actually a total porker. Sorry, Mike, I'm making myself laugh now and that's all that matters sometimes.

The weight savings come from his CC brakes and aftermarket wheels. That combined with an upgraded intake, an exhaust system that's basically a pair of empty tubes exiting his engine that emerge as tailpipes with 'Ef'all else in between... oh, and some race fuel('ish) equates to better times to come from this car in my opinion.
