Same up here in NW Indiana. $2000 a month is an insane house!

I can certainly see your point but thatÂ’s a bit romantic. Novelty always wears off and this program is no guarantee that even after driving a car of your choice for a few weeks, itÂ’ll be anymore clearer to you as which purchase is best.
That's also a fair point. I appreciated the back and forth, something to liven up this forum and my posts with every once in a while lol

Better question is...who the f*ck lives in Tennessee?

I suspect such a program could do very well in cities like Vancouver which are flooded with Asians who have "f*ck you" type of money. These people don't have to think before they spend like even a lot of reasonably rich folks do.

You were lucky to get the deal. Probably in some rural area and/or you are their preferred customer. Otherwise rates like this are not advertised and are plainly unavailable to general public.

I can't make sense of the price, unless they are planning to raise their lease prices. As of right now you can lease an X5M and an M6 for less than $3700 a month with $0 down.

X5M is roughly $1300/mo
M6 GC is roughly $1600/mo.

One could essentially lease both together for cheaper.

Some dealers will let you test these cars for a few days to a week for free or minimal fee.

Also it would make more sense if the $3700 or at least part of it was credited towards the purchase price or lease.

Or perhaps allowing for 2 vehicles to be checked out at a time.

I wonder what their clause is for track usage.

A 2 day M-school is ~$4K, for this I'd get a different M car each weekend and take it to the track. They said maintenance is included, enjoy replacing the rubber after 2 days.

You could, but then you’d be stuck with it until lease end or lease assignment. Think of it more as a much less expensive Hertz Exotics rental with model flexibility, providing the monthly price is also only a month long commitment versus an annual commitment.

I wonder how many track days do I have to do a month to make the $3700 M program worthwhile. Imagine I got a new M for each session? Forget fresh brake fluid per session... I'd have a fresh car!

I imagine they'd lose me as soon as the vehicle I wanted wasn't available. I can see a Legend program participant requesting an M2 and getting a standard 4 series. I'd be upset.

This is lame! Like others have said, you could purchase a vehicle for 30-50% of this monthly fee. This is a program for the elite or upper class. Even the lowest tier rivals my mortgage.

though I still consider it absurd, the legend level, if you only picked the M2 and just did nonstop track days every weekend, does have some value.

The elite would purchase the vehicle exactly how they want it and sell it when they are sick of it. This isn't really for them either.

Exactly, so who goes for this? I'm struggling to think of any person who would do this even if they had expendable finances. I could only see a corporation doing this for the officers of the company.

come to think of it, the $3700 a month puts this BMW program in the ballpark of the exotic car clubs, where your subscription lets you drive McLaren, Ferrari, Rolls, Lamborghini, etc. instead of just M's.

that's where i would put this kind of money. even though i suspect that these clubs probably have more limitations on usage than the BMW program.
