If I don't love the car, I will get something else. If I ended up buying (financing) instead, I would have still paid ~$60-70k after three years, but I would then be faced with having to sell the car (potentially for a loss) or keeping it and continuing to pay.
Plus writing it off on taxes as a business expense. I like to put the difference between the 3 year rent and the MSRP into dividend paying stocks. In 3 years odds are better those do better than the hit you'd take had you paid cash.

Are you considering 100% use as business? I hear people writing off their lease as business expense, but my accountant tells me it really comes out as a wash if you factor in how much personal and commuting miles are factored in.

yep. CPA even has me list gas, car wash club, tires, and anything else. He doesn't cut corners so if he says its worth doing I trust his judgement.

I have a friend who is a finance director at BMW but in a different state. He told me that the lease factor is 0.00156. I verified it here with two different dealers and they both gave me the same numbers.

My mileage requirements are around 5k/yr which only helps me with the residual. I do plan on financing the car after the lease is up if it goes well and it holds up otherwise I walk way. I hope not.

I will be waiting a little longer and probably ordering the comp pkg as I don’t want to deal with lowering and coilover changes. The cosmetics on the comp I am not a big fan of, should have CF instead of all the blacked out trim. Only like the handling the exhaust upgrade.

Porsche is giving me 8% discount on a custom order so I am going to try my best to get what ever off I can between the two dealers.

I did test drive it, so I won’t be going with m550 or e63s.

I've been told the MF is .00166 for the month of May. That matches Edmunds and all online calculators that I've tried. Does the MF change based on the state that your in?

I'm pretty sure that 7,500 miles per year is the lowest available for the M5 lease.

Well that's true. Make sure you get the $4k in rebates and also everyone forgets to buy the 3 year BMWCCA membership for $134 and get a $1,500 check back for BMWNA for buying the car

Rebate on the 5 series from the CCA is $1,000. 7 series and I think the i8 get $1,500.

Yes. You just have to be a member prior to purchase.

Pretty sure you have to be a member for 1 year before you eligible for a rebate.

I was at the club meeting over the weekend and yes, if you purchase a 3-year membership you will get the discount applied right away.
