So, my guess is, the US will get this POS but not the m135i 5 door?

I still don't get why BMW refuses to give us a competitor to the VW Golf R (5 door), Audi S3/RS3 (which has 4 doors), and the MB CLA AMG (also with 4 doors).

There is a HUGE segment BMW is missing with a decent hp 4-5door small RWD car. Look at the sales of the A3 lineup and CLA lineup, and it would be more than profitable for BMW here in the states. I bet BMW just does not want to sacrifice the people throwing down 50-60k on a 335.

I completely agree. I've been looking for a replacement for my aging E46 and don't want a Mercedes cla or Audi A3. I want my same car but newer ie. small, nice, RWD and reasonably priced. And I don't want the 1 series Fwd sedan your bringing to market either. Why do that to us but then bring ever other conceivable car to the market. Support your core group of customers. Who do you think hyped up your brand to make everyone else want to buy them? We do. So give them what they want and we will shut up.

The juke is one of the most ugly cars I've seen, sorry any owners, the cactus is a bit weird really.

I'm not sure why BMW would want to join this club. I'm sure there must be a theoretical business case for it, however I'd have thought a BMW answer to the Audi A1 would have been a much higher priority especially given how much the 1 series grew this generation. :

It doesn't look that bad but I certainly won't be buying it. Would be a nice rental / loaner car though!
