MT. I loved it when I first bought and had a full weekend at the track without it breaking down. Even going at 70 percent, I took 6 seconds off my best time in my 2005 M3 at VIR. A true track beast when running well. People couldn't believe what I was getting out of it straight out of the box

A beautiful white Charger Scat Pack - I think he had done something with his exhaust because it was loud and gorgeous sounding. I was minding my business on the highway and he blew by me. We took the same exit, came up on a light in one of the Dallas-area massive frontage roads. Needless to say he got crushed. Next light he didn't even try. Gave each other thumbs up and went our own way.

I find it weird that abroad that you guys in the US have so much more exotics around, but here in Brazil it is very common for me to be challenged by exotics when I drive the M5. I drive mainly on weekends and pretty much everytime I am on a highway or on an avenue in the nicer neighborhoods I get challenged.
Have already played with Huracan, 458, RS7, Panamera, E63 S, 718 Boxster GTS, 992 S, 991 Turbo S, 991.2 Turbo S, Tesla P100DL, X4M Competition (that one was a surprise), RS3, Demon ....

At least one challenge per weekend day I get it out of the house. And most of these cars are rare, but so is the M5 (only 100 sold here).

A Camaro SS decided to try and not let me go around and get in front of him on the freeway today.. He started driving fast and I got in his ass.. as soon as I was about to fly by him the moron cut me off. I barely avoided hitting him. People really need to learn how to drive. Any that has basic car knowledge knows that a Camaro SS is no match to an F90. Why even try.. lol.

I still have yet to be challenged by something that's actually fast..

It was a lot closer than I expected. In fact, this X4M Competition is pretty fast. For city driving, there is not much in it in comparison to the M5. Obviously in speeds of excess of 100 mph, things change quickly.

I think with less fun cars around in Brazil, everybody is just ready to play a little.
Sounds strange but the Autobahn is almost the same. Lots of nicely equipped cars with small engines in Germany and only few high performance cars in-between; so whenever an AMG, M, RS or Porsche meets, they are ready to go...

My brother in law just got a 992 S. We both left from a light no launch control for either of us and we were mirror to mirror until 100 mph. 992 had 300 miles on it. Not even broken in and it kept up with the M5 comp. it's a very under rated rocket

Yeah that makes sense, because it is very rare to see cars like this. In São Paulo we are very fortunate that it is a wealthy city so the presence of new nicely equiped cars is large, but they are mostly 1.0, 1.4 Turbocharged, some Diesel SUVs, but the performance side of things is rare. Porsches are a frequent find in weekends in São Paulo, but that is about it. I have come across only 2 other M5s since I bought mine.

That is quite impressive. I have already compared the M5 to a 992 S in launching and in the highway. From a standstill to 80-90mph the 992 S is just as fast. But after that the M5 is faster, especially in the top end. It leaves the 992 S for dead in the road. But then again, a Taycan Turbo and above, or a 992 Turbo will do the deed vs the M5 LOL

There was even a comparo in a Brazilian mag, since both cars are evenly priced here: https://quatrorodas.abril.com.br/not...s-sangue-puro/

Needless to say the 992 won.

Kawasaki Ninja 1000

Two stop light races, no launch control, just mash the throttle, first race he got the jump for half a bike and then we were running dead even.

Second race, we both took off at same time, he got a bit of wheelie soon after so I got ahead half a car and then we were running dead even.

I would call it a draw. Rather fast off the line that bike, most bikes cant keep up from a dig with the M5

I already have an order in for the 992 Turbo S and can't wait to see what it does after seeing how fast the 992 S is.

M4.

I was driving home and on the phone with my wife. This dude pulls up next to me and starts revving with the subsequent cracks and burbles. There was traffic, so no reason to engage. He gets in front of me, and same old revving routine for like a mile. My wife was like wtf is that sound? I said oh nothing.

I see traffic opening up ahead and switch over to the left lane. He gets behind me, I punch it, he follows suit, and I spank him by a dozen or so buslengths.

I switch over a lane and he does the ricer fly by. Rude. Lol

Let’s face it, not many sedans can run with a well-driven f90 m5, a p100d will take it from a dig all things equal, but thats about it.

As for the sports cars, hey they’re driving sports cars so the confused look on their faces when u keep up or beat them is hey man, im driving an expensive sports car-i’m suppost to win lol!

Interesting, I've raced a few Hellcats from a light and beat them to 60, they couldn't get traction. Did you take him at first and then he caught up?

I think you need to re-read his post a few times.
