Is that an LCI M5 behind the alleged CS?

Strange, I would have expected the CS to release with the LCI. Doesn't make sense for them to release pre-lci with the refresh so close now.

Doesn’t look super interesting though I’m curious about the carbon fiber CS hood.

This is something I would be very interested

I am most interested in weight drop....like to see it at 4K even.

As far as HP goes, I really care less sense tuning will do the job.

Exactly. Makes little sense to me.

How else is BMW going to warrant charging 150K for an M5? CS model of course!

All jokes aside I have no idea how much this will cost but knowing BMW's formula its take away options and amenities, throw on some aero and demand a big premium over the "lower" models.

Wow really! Here we go again. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Cost aside.. A CS in any model number is way way more than a few aero bits thrown on. Talk to anyone that has driven M3 comp and an M3 CS. The driving dynamics and handling improvements are significant. And you keep your warranty.

If anything the pictures should show the front. They will be making the grills larger and making the headlights look worse

My point being that it doesn't cost BMW money to make these "improvements" but yet the cost increase is significant when you factor in the stuff they take away as part of the CS package "upgrade"

You don't call 12k worth of carbon parts, special wheels, steering wheels, Alcantara, etc more money. The CRFP hood alone is $5,000.
