Removing bottom 3 front grills

Im interested in painting the bottom 3 front grills on my F80. Does anyone have experience removing them? Are the similar to the upper grills (snap in/out)? Does the bumper have to be removed to do so? Thanks

Do you have pics? Would love to see it. What color is your car?

Thanks Edwin. Was removing the bumper a DIY job? If so how tedious?

Mine is SO as for pics, I have pics of the grills painted off the car, hard to capture the gloss with the phone camera

It helps to read the thread. Yes. The bumper will have to come off to remove the 3 bottom grilles.

Be sure to tape off the area on the headlight and fender that comes in contact with the bumper. It's very easy to scratch up that area when removing the bumper.
