Hello all -

I am new to NJ (Edison) and have a '19 M5C. I've enjoyed the car for a while now but would like to make it faster - I plan to take it to track sometimes. I've been researching and thinking about adding a down pipe, intake, and a tune. I know modding the engine voids the warranty and whatnot, but I mean, does anyone even keep these things stock. Are there any recommendations to a mod friendly dealership/SA? Heard Park Ave is really good, not too bad of a drive from Edison if it's worth it.

Also, any recommendations on which dp, intake, and tune? For those who have these mods, what type of gains have you seen?

Pork Ave is where I go. They are awesome.

I would stay clear of Open Road BMW in Roxbury. I'm not sure if all Open Road dealerships act the same way, but their service department is just awful. Maybe they got better over the past 8 years, but I doubt it.

What's the name of your SA? Do you have any mods?

Park Ave for sure. I've brought all my tuned/modded cars there without even a blink from the techs or SAs. They get it.

I have had several different SAs over the years. The last one, Chris, is the one who informed me that I had a DME tune (which I had no idea I had as the car was preciously a BMW NA corporate car). He did not preform the scheduled recall because it would have wiped the tune.
