Going to suck it up and get HREs, need help with fitment and finish

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
It's always been my dream to get HRE P101's, but I could never muster up the courage to spend that much on wheels. I'm in love with my M5, and figure I can put them on my next few m cars, so may as well go big or go home!

I have decided to go with them, but need help on fitment, and finish.

I have a 2020 BSM M5, and plan to lower on H&R springs (most likely). I don't want spacers and obviously with custom wheels, I don't need them. If I choose a fitment, will I have issues if I get another M5 in 3 years?

Now, should I go with gloss black, satin black or textured black? I love gloss black, and I have my calipers getting done in the BMW red.

Help with fitment! Thanks.

Gloss black. If you want matte, don't clean the brake dust off for a couple washes. Any thoughts against brushed double dark tint. One of my favorite finishes.

Since when are HRE not the genuine article??? Both are top quality brands, and you can't go wrong with either.

I've always loved HRE P101. Do you think BBS is better?

I really don't think that either one is better. They are both top-tier aftermarket wheels, and both brands are really well known for high quality and appearances. Go with what you like the most - you will most likely never feel any difference, they both hold similar resale value, both are top-tier brands, and both look amazing (I think at least ). Really can't go wrong with either - go with what you like the most!

I've seen BBS in the F1 paddock.. Never seen HRE in any top tier racing. Mostly i associate HRE with ripping off other firms iconic designs. As far as I can tell HRE's really strenght is marketing, I have a feeling they take good care of the retail channel that moves their product.

I'm a big BBS fan personally, but HRE are well known for high quality and design. Definitely a top-tier manufacturer... just not my personal preference.
