How do Ceramic gold calipers differ from steel?

Guys,

Is there a difference in the casting or cup size? Will a blue or red caliper fit and work on a ceramic rotor?

Based on some posts I've seen, the blue steel caliper and the gold ceramic caliper are different.

I CANNOT confirm, however. Only way for sure is to see and measure them back to back, or have manufacturer spec drawing.
