Pre=LCI to LCI
Anyone turning in their car early for the new LCI version? I have a MY2020, and am curious to see how bad a hit I’d have to absorb to make the switch.

Nah, really nothing so drastically different that I would exit my lease early.
I have a about a year left on my current 19' M5C and will spec an LCI 4-5 months before lease expires.

LCI just seems like a cute lipstick, nothing drastic, not worth it for me to run and switch my '19 M5 for the LCI and loose money on my current M5... plus I still prefer the '19 cluster

What is so worth it on the LCI to make the switch? I wouldn't take any hit on a car just to get some different headlights and taillights (both of which are arguably worse in comparison).

Say no to the LCI
For a variety of reasons I'm appreciating my 2020 M5C purchase this March more and more after the release of the LCI. Would I update the taillights if its plug and play, maybe. But given the direction of recent BMW designs, having a single owner, low mileage, pre facelift F90 will be the move in a few years.

Oh cmon. Not worth it. It barely adds more features. And half you can simply code.

@OP: What does Pro offer? I'm not criticizing or judging, just asking out of curiosity.

Pro cannot be coded, as a sensor that monitors your eyes is needed. It’s located in the upper center of the instrument cluster, above the M5 graphic |

I would like to change, BUT what sort of "HIT" will it cost me?, mine has 9K miles in 16 months, what with Covid 19 and a Hip replacement it's been unused for 6 months or more over the 16 months.
I usually change every year but mine looks new and I just don't want to get arse raped on PX.

I get there is a difference but when I test drove the M8 it didn't seem all that different from my M5. To each there own but to me not worth taking a several thousand $$$ hit for. Plus I didn't buy an M to let it drive for me! Haha

I would not do it. I have a 2019 M5 that has been 100% reliable. For me to change up to the LCI means the risk of turning in a great car for maybe a lemon, who knows.

IJS - Why buy and M5 to let it drive itself? I want all the nanny features off!! And if you have to engage the road with your eyes for it to work then what's the real purpose? Not being a jerk...
