He never gave me the full lease details. I just told him we are a few hundred dollars off (at minimum) on the lease. After that, all he did was push me to build a car which I was not interested in doing with him. I live in Maryland. I'll for sure get a quote from another dealer.

M5 $122k msrp 36 months 10k miles $2,400 down $1,900 a month I was willing to pay $1,600. Did not make a deal, I own a 2016 M3 so I settled for a 2018 750i at another dealer for $1,300 a month (msrp $109k, 10k miles, 36 months, $1,700 down). I really wanted to have an M3 and M5, but I am not going to get ripped off... want/needed a second car. I know you can't compare an M5 to a 750i but I would rather save $600 and still drive a $109k car. |

I'm holding off on leasing until my lease expires in August. Dealers will be pushing more discounts with the 2019 models rolling out soon. I wish they redesigned the Gran Coupe this year- it was 10x's better compared to my previous F10 M5.

MSD = multiple security deposits. Each deposit (equal to one lease payment) will buy down the money factor by a given amount. I think it's like .00007, but don't quote me. Maximum number is 7 I think you can put down. At the end of the lease, you are given a check back in the amount you put down. So it's like a guaranteed rate of return on your deposit.
Only issue that I've encountered is if you try to swap the lease or have someone take over the lease. Unfortunately the deposit stays with the new leasee, so you have to get your payment up front before you transfer the lease, otherwise it will go to the new leasee at lease end. I asked my SA here in Texas and they said it was still available. Not sure I believe it based on what I've read, but who knows. |

What sucks in Texas is that we have to pay full sales tax on the car up front even if leasing. Then if we buy it at lease end, we pay sales tax again. |

Did not know this. I got a good quote from him on my M3 awhile back, but a local dealer matched it. Will probably hit him up again if I decide on an M5.

I got two of my last cars from him. Great experience and best price I could find. I am in NYC so had to go with the performance center delivery both times since David was in CA. I plan to reach out to him as well when my lease is up - I am not sure the next X6M will be out by then (or if it will may still be too expensive as a first year model) so am considering an M5 for my next lease. With all wheel drive Iit's a real option in NY.

As far as I can tell, the pricing and invoice costs on the 2019s are identical to the 2018s. There are no MY changes to the vehicles either. So, other than the lesser desirability of having a car branded with an older year of origin, why should the 19s be any more difficult to negotiate a good deal for?

Took delivery on my '18 M5 last week. Very excited about the deal I got on it!
Donington Gray, MSRP: $118,795.00 Sales Price: $110,160 (including $2k loyalty rebate) Money Factor: .166 (buy rate) Lease Terms: 36 months, 10k/year. Down Payment: $5,000 Final Monthly Payment: $1,392/mo Tried to get enough of a deal that if I decide to do a lease assumption down the road, it'll be an easy car to get rid of. I think I was successful! Gotta be patient with these dealers. I talked to 5 (all over the country). 2 were highly motivated to sell. The other 3 basically told me to go pound sand. |

I did better on my 2017 x6M but with the max MSDs. Your lease deal looks good.

3 Year 10k Mile Lease
2018 M5 Fully loaded minus the CCB. Dealer added options such as CF front splitters, CF rear diffuser, and CF rear spoiler already added. MSRP: $122,215.00 Sales Price: $120,000.00 $0 Down 7 MSD's $1478/month With the 7 MSD's I think the price should be $1,409. So it appears they are marking up the MF to about 0.00135 (3.24%). Over the term of the lease only ~$2000 mark up. While the extra CF goodies are nice, do you think it's better to just bake them into the lease vs getting another car without them and adding them myself and selling them after 3 years? Thoughts on the deal? Last edited by YEEZ23; 07-11-2018 at 06:49 PM.. |
