Just found this video on youtube... Anyone know whose ride this is. It says he is only running a Juice Box Stg 2 & GE street radials. Hard to believe!!

Are you guys seriuos? Look at when the timer starts counting, when the car is in motion and doin more then 20 miles per hour. This car did not hit 60 in 4.3, sorry, just the truth.

FYI...Tonight I went and did about 10 starts from a stop while watching the GTech react. It doesn't offer any type of visual cue when it first starts timing the run. Same thing happened every time.
When I compared the drag strip printout to the Gtech times on my 335i, they were within about .05 seconds, .13mph. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...t=82649&page=2 I can guarantee you that the Gtech is starting on time, and definitely not when I am already going 20mph! |

Sorry did not mean to offend you. I was under the impression that the timer is all the way on the the middle left. I timed those digits and they are counting in seconds, thats how i assumed that was the timer. Now when you look at the video, that number remains at 0.000 untill you hit 18-22 mph and then it starts counting in seconds. According to that it seems as if it only stats counting not as soon as you take off but a little bit later, again i could be wrong, is that not the timer?

These gadgets are not very accurate, 1/4 mile might be a little closer....but to do a 0-60 run, you need a radar gun, and a sound sensitive timer...
wishful thinking though...

You're the blind one. Look at the video again, and this time use your eyes. What I'm saying is that since the timer started later, his 0-60 time is actually slower than 4.3 sec. It's probably close to 4.7 sec or so.

Dude, I run 4.3 all day on my Gtech. I have procede and DRs. Its amazing how much the 0-60mph and 60' times get helped with DR's. The Run flats are too hard.

I have Nitto Drag radials, just look them up. They are D.O.T. approved so you can drive around with them. they arent to bad in rain either. Seriously, Change you tires, as long as you dont go with run flats you sould get better lauches which will result in better times. |
