Unhappy A very unfortunate accident

To give you guys an idea of what happened here, I was giving my friend a ride to his house, we arrive and I notice this big transit van parked a bit further away from me, being very careful about my lovely new car I decide to stop my car even further from him...Sadly, this did not stop him from reversing straight into me.

Luckily he was a friendly guy and apologized for what had just happened, we traded information and now this is a insurance company matter.

By my own uneducated eye I can't find and serious damage, except the obvious damage, just some cracks and what not in the wheel well.

Everyone, please be safe.

If it makes you feel any better, not even 24 hrs into owning my new M340, a gate flew open in my new houses driveway and into the side of my brand new car lol.

Actually can't even tell but there's a super tiny mark. Still gave me a heart attack and am still upset by it even 4 days later lol

Bummer.

I'm sure you will already have done this - check the wheel and tyre very carefully to ensure they haven't been damaged. Looks like a pretty low speed knock so can't imagine any suspension damage will have occurred.

Thanks, yeah i've looked around and cant seem to find any more damage than the body panel, rim is fine so is the wheel.

Hopefully it's not more than a panel, as far as I can tell it shouldnt be. I just dont want to wait for 2 months while they repair it
