M8 811M Wheels: Will they fit and are they forged?

I don’t know much about wheels. Or anything about wheels. I want to know definitively if:

(1) these will swap into my stock Michelin tires exactly same as my current setup (running 11mm spacers in front and none in rear) and
(2) they are forged (I can’t find proof of this one way or the other)

There’s an old thread on it but didn’t seem conclusive to me or not conclusive enough for me to go spend thousands on the wheels.

I do know they are kickass and that I want to buy them.

811M I want to buy:
Front Wheels: 9.5Jx20 ET28 (p/n 36118089564)
Rear Wheels: 10.5Jx20 ET28 (p/n 36118089565)

My current 706M:
Front Wheels: 9.5Jx20 ET28 (p/n 36117857077)
Rear Wheels: 10.5Jx20 ET28 (p/n 36117857078)

Are these the only relevant parameters or am I missing something?

They will fit fine. They are identical in specs apart from weight I'm sure.

Thanks man. Feel like there are so many variables people throw out with wheels and tires I glaze over.

Now need to figure out if they’re forged...

Look into other brands as well.

I had the f90 789m wheels.

Switched to titan 7 for better offset and wider wheels and then switched again to

BBS fi-r 21 inch.

You can find better offset and weight in after market and still be able to use bmw caps for oem look if necessary.

Yeah it’s just to get the good forged wheels from HRE or BBS it’s a total fortune. Your wheels aren’t they the gold standard? Very very cool.

I just figure if I’m not gonna step up to those brands might as well get the OEM wheels that fit. Just seemed easier and cheaper. Also I really love those 811s.

Unless you are getting a total deal on the BMW wheels, you can get lighter and wider forged wheels for less money. Both the Titan and Dinan wheels are lighter than any of the BMW wheels I have seen and a set of 4 of either Titan or Dinan go for less than $3,500 which is again substantially less than I have seen for any BMW wheel.

$4K with taxes and shipping.

I’ll think about but I’m a homer when it comes to the OEM parts.

Where were you going to source them from? I found them on "GetBMWParts.com" for about 3800.

Exactly there. That was cheapest I found. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet since it’s a big chunk of change but seriously want to.
