1200 Miles Service at 740 Miles?

I picked up a nail in one of the tires yesterday on the freeway. Brought my new M4 into the dealership since I purchased a tire & wheel package. Meanwhile since the car was already there

SA said that the key told him to go ahead and do the 1200 mile service even though my odometer was only at 740 miles. He said that it doesn't have to hit 1200 before the key alerts him to service it. Is this okay for the break in period?

Besides a differential fluid change what else are they servicing?

I am going in tomorrow for the 1200 service, and I only have 910. Should be okay.

6mt = oil and diff
Dct = oil and diff

Dealer didn't change 6mt fluid on my 16 f80. For e90 m3 I believe 6mt fluid was changed.

I asked and mentioned the tranny was a little notchy and they changed the fluid in my 6MT.

1200 service "DONE", dealer have no problem doing it early. again my is at 910 when I call and schedule.

Had mine done at 860 as well with no issue. They had my spoiler so had both done at same time.

Good to know you can do it that much earlier. I'm planning a road trip and don't think I'll be at 1200 before I go but want to have the service done first.
