Tyre wear
29000 miles out of my fronts (218i) and still got 2mm on them. Never had a car go easy on tyres like this. I'm on the factory Goodyear's - how's everyone else fairing up?

I just bought my '21 with just under 27k and the tires are new (CarMax slapped on a set).
I put over 60,000 miles in my Passat TDI (and still going) on the same tires as my 235i now has (Continental Extreme Contact+ ). But I drove that car different. It almost beckoned you to hypermile while this car just wants to play. I suspect I won't be getting tire wear like that in this car. |

Yeah I know, but the maintenance company won't replace them until they reach 1.8mm, I could've done with new ones over the last few months as it's been the wettest winter for a long time

That's not a supplier I'd ever want to deal with. Blatantly ignoring common sense and BMW's requirements. Even BMW dealers selling an AUC will replace any tyre less than 3mm.
