Has anyone installed center console ambient light on manual g80???

I really want this but apparently it doesn’t fit the manual. I saw a YouTube of someone installing it a while back. When installed it looked just like the other ambient lighting. It looked great.

6MT here, that's cool but what I really miss in my G82 M4 are those two little amber ambient lights of past 3/4 series generations that would shine down that slight amber light onto the stick area

Does the G82 not have that? We do have it in the G80. Just had to go check (pic below). I do like this little detail. This is also in my Escalade and it is just a nice touch.

The G82's also have these lights. I have owned a 2021 & 2023. They change color with the rest of the ambient lighting.

Can anyone confirm that the aftermarket center console ambient light kit actually does not fit the 6MT G8X console? I've also heard that the consoles are the same and the kit should work.
Does anyone have any more definitive info on this? THanks.

They aren’t the same, so if it fits the auto it can’t fit the manual also.

The one thing stopping me from getting these is that you can't transfer the leather pads from the stock trim to this. Otherwise it would be a slam dunk.
