I've ordered the set for my F90 M5 and to be honest the customer service and replay's are instant waiting for shipment

I'm running BMC filters now and got st2 tune with upper and lower catless downpipes, and to make it clear this car needs a cold as possible air intake to avoid (timing & boost) reduction (my main issue now)
hopefully project gamma intakes will sort it out

Nice man. I had to pull mine out for break-in service and was immediately disappointed with the lack of awesome intake noise. Enjoy!

If indeed you're so happy with your Project Gamma intakes, why on earth would you be trying to unload them on Ebay under a different brand?? You're claiming the intakes are Lusso Motorsports when clearly they are the Project Gammas you posted right in this very thread. They are in fact the same pictures!!! How dumb could you be?

See link below peeps..
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lusso-Motor...d/153621236123

What's crazy is that I felt bad for you in this thread when everyone questioned you. But your credibility just went out the window... Quit the Shits bro. You're just making yourself look really bad on a public forum.

Here's the funny thing, I'm not selling anything. The intakes are still on my car and I have no plans on changing them out.

That guy is in Warren, MI. I am in Houston, TX. I have not a clue who this guy is, but he did steal my pictures from page 1 of this thread.

This is my eBay feedback which is 700+ perfect and you will notice that I am not selling ANYTHING. This guy has made a fraudulent listing, period. I have reported it. Check his feedback. Fraud.

Also please note that my car is wrapped matte blue and present pictures would reflect that:

But nice work, super sleuth, you cracked the case.

What an idiot I am, and I am humbled before your gargantuan intelligence. You caught me selling my intakes from 1500 miles away from where I live, while advertising it as a different brand than it is. I'm caught! Why didn't I expect a senior detective from the Internet Intelligence Agency to investigate????

Oh wait, people can download pictures from the internet and repost them. You've been on these forums for 10 years and that managed to escape you??

Thanks for jamming your entire foot into your mouth with your incredible jump to conclusions and the totally uncalled-for tone in your post, while also making yet ANOTHER pointless shitpost in my thread.

This thread has been a dumpster fire, completely thanks to hyper-opinionated fuckwits with no actual knowledge of the product, and guess what, now you are one of them. I expect an apology and I'll be waiting.

I've been running the intakes since I made the original post and I remain super happy with them, it's a huge improvement to the driving experience. It's a great product at a reasonable price, that's it.

Gee, looks like you drive an F30, post negative shit about everything, and have no specific knowledge of this product, much less would you be able to own the F90 on which to install it. Fuckwit.

You know what else, this is the last effort I put in to do shit for these forums. I've been here for ten years and back in the day we would have forum meetups for e90s and work on each others' cars and post pictures, it was a cooperative and helpful place. I've posted product reviews, a bunch of DIYs on multiple platforms, taken and given input on countless projects during my time owning six BMWs. Over 3,000 posts total.

And now this.

In this thread, I bought a product, enjoyed it, and tried to do something nice for the owner starting his own business by making a nice detailed post about a good product.

In return I have been called a shill, a fraud, and a liar, and enjoyed tons of negative bullshit based on absolutely nothing.

If YOU have ACTUALLY used the product on YOUR CAR and you liked or didn't like it, then please feel free to chime in, OTHERWISE, if you have nothing of substance to add and just feel like being negative, go beat your dick and come back when you feel better. Completely unreal.

I Was one of the first persons to get the projectgamma intakes for my car . Fitment is perfect and sounds really nice . Power wise I can’t confirm since it’s really just an intake . Drove through hard rainy days and no issues at all , cars running strong . It’s all about the sound and the menacing look it gives the front end . MSR for sure is more quality and is a respectable brand but for me personally it’s way overpriced .

Please keep up your reviews as we are intelligent enough to sort out the wheat from the chaff, honey from the crap, etc.... I have obtained excellent advice and ideas from this forum and contributed my experience back - it has made my F90 a more enjoyable experience and given me the confidence to explore things i normally would not.

I am reminded of something a wiseman once told me; "Do not argue with idiots - they will drag you down to their level and beat you senseless with it...". And to be clear, I personally am not calling anyone an idiot!

a simple "why are you selling it" or a link asking if it was yours would have been a lot better way to approach the subject

Agreed. LancoleTX, I also started on this forum in the early E90 days, still have the car, and it was great. There is still a lot of value to these forums and appreciate the contributions guys like you make. Thx and keep posting!

My bad bro. Maybe I did jump the gun not thinking that people stole pictures from forums and listed on ebay. The whole thing seemed shady. I could have approached you better on the fact... my apologies.

Silicone gets softer under heat and I have seen hoses on a newer Dodge Viper collapse under heat from the radiator, some company makes a hose with a large spring inside to remedy the issue. I was just wondering if this has been addressed on the Gamma intake because if one side collapses under full boost, pretty sure that's not going to end well for the car.
They’re super thick, probably 3/8”, and multi layered material. No way they collapse dude.

makes no sense to think the intake tube would collapse on itself

with poor quality non metal reinforced silicone the intakes can absolutely collapse aka get sucked shut. turbos are pulling in air at a high rate and if the filters are not flowing enough air thru them meet the demand, that will start creating a vacuum inside the intakes and suck them shut.

i am NOT suggesting that this will happen to these particular intakes. i have never seen them. i have seen this happen on a friends 997TT.

That's what I was asking about and no one here had any idea what i was talking about. Anyway i bought the Gamma intakes and I will do some testing of the intake pipes under heat, worst case scenario I can buy 75-90 degree 3.5" aluminum tubes with legs to insert into the silicone pipes and reinforce them for approx. $40 per side, still keeps the intake a lot cheaper than other front mount options.

You will see this is a non-issue when you receive them. Quite thick material.
