Wheel recommendations
Just got my car today. I've been looking for wheels for a bit but cannot decide.
I would normally go 21, but the roads where I live suck so I am sticking with the OEM 20" tires. I have always done HRE in the past, but I do not want to break the bank. $10k for a set of P104SC's is just too much - reason being I will certainly bed, scrape etc at least one of them and have to replace it. Again, the roads suck in Houston. Here are my guidelines:
Now, I can get close to $5k for some sets of forged HRE's, but it's more like $6500. What are your recommendations |

I've had good luck with Vossen wheels. On my third set of them (all forged - two sets of monoblock and one set of three piece).

I would speak to a local dealer. I have guys I work with in Portland. Where are you? I can see who they would recommend.

In the last 2 years I have bought a set of forged, one piece Vossen, HRE and BBS. All are very nice quality wheels. My favorite overall is BBS. Would buy BBS again.

main issue is cost... I only want to spend $5k. I want the P104SC's but the best deal I found was $9500.

Im from Houston as well, been searching for a set of wheels. I may give Vossen a try since there is one monoblock forged model i like from them - i get it from a local dealer EVS. ---maybe he will give us a deal if we buy two sets...
the other option is VIP modular/RSV Forged...but thats just me. I have similar guidelines as im searching for a set of wheels for my car as well. |

I'll second this ^^^
Had them on my X5M and would get them again if I was in the market for wheels.

Don’t mess around and stick with a quality wheel like HRE. You can get Forged HRE classic for little over $5k. Call Ben at wheels boutique.
They have several wheel options in the $5k range. Go with HRE and you can sell in a few years for $4k. |
