My 2024 i4 xdrive came with DAP. I love it. Worked great in January. Then it might be coincidence but I had the BMW Ceramic Pro done to the car. When I got it back, I’m getting random times where the yellow wheel icon comes on for a second or two. Random times. During the first month, I had it go on a couple times but it was during lane crossing so it was normal. Now, I can have a good line on the left and right of my lane and once in a while I’ll get the yellow steering wheel icon for 1-2 seconds. It’s not the “hands” on as I normally keep my hands on the wheel.

The camera at the the top f the windshield looks fine. Glass is crystal clear. The front “radar” pad looks ok. Not cracked or anything.

Anything else I should check? Supposedly the ceramic pro is on bothe the front pad and on the windshield also. But I was told it doesn’t effect the camera or radar pad.

It can come on for any reason. Not related to coating. Poor lane lines, poor visibility, sun on horizon. Quite literally countless numbers of things can make it upset and turn off. It always errors on the side of safety.
