I went and checked out a regular 18 today here in town. Part of what I like about my current M5 is the competition package. The car sits nice and sounds good. Going to a 7 series sounding car, even though it has more power, is going to be tough. Going from $1200 to ~$1700 is doable it's just hard to get my mind around.

Based on those numbers and without even knowing the MF I would say that's pretty hard to beat. I'm guessing the MF is marked up some but without knowing the rate who knows. |

Grabbing it while it still is there.
Couldn't get them any lower as they started with max MF . As I am working this all by phone and email the best i could get was .25% ir drop after going back and forth on the buy rate. Figure they do not have a ton left in Cap cost reduction, and it looks like they will pay my last month on M3 lease, and I believe I get a 300$ below mileage refund which gets applied to M5 in a month or so.

Is leasing better than purchasing? I've never leased a high end car and I don't have a business with which to write a lease off. Plus in Texas, you have to pay the whole tax up front, which always struck me as odd since we don't own the car. So I've never leased. But reading this thread, should I be leasing?
I plan on getting a stripper M5, with just Executive and Diver Assistant. Hoping for $7 to $8K off before the $2500 loyalty rebate and the BMWCC $1000 rebate. Plus taking advantage of a 2.45% interest rate. Thanks! |

I know the dealership, the downside with them is they put a lot of accessories on the car that jack up the sell price, accessories I don't really care about. And the couple I looked at both had the M drivers package, which is worthless for me. However if you like the accessories, then it's a good deal.
