20s vs 21s
Guys I wanted to get some opinion as I was looking into getting 21s but was advised against it for performance reasons. I was told that car might corner better but drag times will suffer going to a 21inch wheel.
my current 20 inch wheels are 22-24lbs and 21s will be 28-30lbs. Prompt advise will be appreciated so I can make an informed decision ASAP. Thx in advance

If you're willing to pay, you can get forged 21s that don't weigh more, or maybe even less than the ones you've got now.

Regardless of what wheels were run I still believe 20” will give even better times for 1/4 mile with more sidewall. I think it is all personal preference. If you like more tire or not. If properly lowered 20” wheels can look very good. I bought 20” to start and might go to 21” in a year or two when I get bored. |
