Is it OK to drive a bit more than 1400mi before break in service?

Basically, title. I'm asking the dealership too, of course, but I suspect people here are more knowledgeable.

The service is due in 491 miles, and I'm in a different city -- 425 miles away from my dealership, to be exact. I'll be here 5 more days, so if I really need to make sure I don't go over 1,400, I've got to be pretty careful.

The drive back is open highway with a mostly 80mph speed limit. I'm not sure if this is good or bad -- while I did engage in quite a bit of spirited driving on the way here, the fact remains that the vast majority of the time it's just cruising at lower RPMs.

Even if I do as I please, I will probably be back with 1,500 miles or less. Would that be any cause for concern? To avoid that I would probably have to rent a car for a few days, or at least take a bunch of Uber rides.

The CPO certification requirement from the checklists I could find say <2400 to make CPO. I suspect you'll be fine.

1 miles over and the engine ECU locks up and the car goes into limp mode and must be towed backwards to the dealer to turn the odometer back

I'm pretty sure my SA told me 1600 miles was max for CPO qualification. But I'll also say that it was a casual conversation and I think he was new. So.... came from BMW but not all people at BMW are the same :-)

I'd care less about cpo and more about your own warranty. Who cares if they can cpo it upon lease turn in lol.

My point was not that he needs to care about CPO, but that BMW has probably selected that mileage for technical reasons vice being some abitrary number.

Gonna have to ask your service advisor and get their answer in an email what the mileage cutoff is for warranty, and it will likely be greater than 1500, and you'll be fine. But, I would have it in writing and save the email. Can't you have this service done at a dealership in the city you're in? Does it have to be at the dealer your bought it from? I assume BMWNA is paying for it no matter where it's done.
