Wow those are some low sticker RS5's---- the only ones I see out here are high 70's and even into the 80's with addendums.

I agree the RS5's have a look to them- I wish they had more juice behind the look though.

I stand corrected. I just asked my wife because she wrote the price down. The price was 77,500. So Vic you are right. The S5 was around 45k new. They also had a used 2013 R8 v-10 with 3k on the clock for 146k.

That is true yes.

I've always had trouble with the rear of the 7. It's a striking car but the rear lights makes it look so sad somehow..
I sat in an S7 (didn't drive) and the interior didn't really feel all that special imo. The 8 interior is amazing but the 5 and 7 feel a bit.. dare I say cheap. Or at least not on par with their price tags.

isn't a S5 close to 70k and a RS5 closer to 90k?

S5's are usually in the 60k range well equipped; the RS5's are in the higher 70's.

For the money the RS5 is a great looking and rather strong performing car- its an M3 comparo car along with the C63.

I went to the Audi dealer locally and drove the S7 and although kind of cool a definite NO. The sport hatch is not for me, the rear seat getting in and out I hit my head, interior was good but not great, no ceramic breaks in Canada yet, i kept looking at it and looking at it and I didn't get it no spark. So I went and ordered a new M5 with competition package and ceramic brakes.
My opinion BMW M5 9.5, Audi RS7 8.0 just my opinion.

Autocar just tested RS6, it's basically the same car.

Dry track: RS6 1.12.8, M5 1.14.1
Wet track: RS6 1.13.3, M5 1.17.3

RS6 is quicker due to its immense grip, or so said Autocar.

Quarter mile: RS6 12.2 at 117.2MPH, M5 12.4 at 119.8MPH
Standing KM: RS6 22.1 at 150.5MPH, M5 22.2 at 155.8MPH

Again RS6 is quicker due to AWD, but M5 does catch up........eventually.

The RS6 and RS7 are both handsome cars. I have a thing for estate cars, I'd kill to have an RS6 from across the pond. RS7 looks better than a CLS 63 in my eyes, on par with the M6 GC.
