Project Gamma installation enquiry

Dears,

I need your help ! I ordered the new Carbon fiber intakes from project gamma and i choosed the short extension option because i thought that the car still need a space behind the grille.
Unfortunately it didnt fit! They told me either i remove the v bar or to get the long extension option.

So is there any problem to remove the v bar? What are they used for ?
If anyone from project gamma is here, please send me a direct message.

Guys please help 😅

Some guys remove the strut braces for their CAI and say it isn't a problem...I would agree for normal driving conditions (i.e. not on the track). I suppose the same would go for the v-brace up front. Honestly I would see if PG could exchange for the full length and not worry about it

Edit: I have the PG full length silicon pipes and have zero issues with room or air flow/cooling

V brace is there for front end protection for crash purposes only.
