My basic OP41 had a 4 year wait at my local AD. Had to buy off Chrono24 with a 25% markup. Crazy that a bottom range stainless watch is so hard to buy.

I've been browsing Chrono24 and Crown/Caliber and just watching prices go up and up. |

LOVE the Aquanaut. Truly the definition of "understated" time keeping. I recently saw an army green one, with the 3 chronos (I believe patek calls them moonphase?) and was utterly cut in half when the price tag of $280,000 was attached to it. Epic watches. Wear them in good health!

I’ll say a prayer for you! I dig that you have a rotation of Patek Phillipe watches. I’m not sure what I’ll want to go for next. I’m all about what deal presents itself, and if I’ve liked the watch enough to chase it, study it, and eventually add it to the collection. I still have my sights set on the Boutique Blue Royal Oak. I was in search of that dial while on my honeymoon 2 years ago in Milan. I called the store from Tuscany 2 days prior to ensure they’d be open. I walked in, asked for the Blue, and was answered with a chuckle. I had liked the Grey dial too, so I asked if he had any of those. He goes “ I have one 15500 Grey dial, 2019 reference” Pulled out the Amex, and walked out with a new 15500, at RETAIL PLUS VAT REFUND in under 20 minutes. I’ve also kicked the idea around of purchasing the Rose Gold strap and having that instead of the black leather on my 15400, but we’ll see when the time comes for service. The watch market is similar to South Florida Real Estate nowadays. I can’t believe what my watches could sell “used” for. I also have a Cartier Roadster XL / stainless / white dial- but I hardly wear it, with obvious reason.

I agree 100%. The market is absurd. I love some of your watches and some of mine… but not enough to pay secondary market prices. Always best to build a great relationship with an authorized dealer and be patient. The rose bracelet would look incredible. The royal oak bracelet may be the best in the game IMO.

Nothing like some of the beasts in this thread, but a sharp watch nonetheless. Wears a bit smaller than I would like, but I barely know this thing is on.....

I love it, thank you so much for posting!! I was wondering where did you buy it from with this band (I like these types of bands)?

Hey guys, always been a fan of watches.
My current favorite, but not pictured in the m5, sorry Arnold and Son golden dragon. It is #1/25, and has a true beat movement which moves each second. Lot of work to make a mechanical movement work like a quartz, but what the hell. Lot of history behind the true beat movement, particularly with marine navigation and docs measuring pulse. Enjoy! |

Btw, almost every watch in the thread has a fake version available, but that is because there are a lot of highly desirable watches pictured here, which is what the fake market produces.
I doubt any of these are fake, and you all have some amazing pieces. Wear them in good health! |
