Refurbishing Comp Wheels
Hi All,
There is a set of comp wheels for sale on ebay that need to be fully refurbished. They have scratches on the silver parts and the black parts. What is a fair cost to fix these wheels please? As they have 2 colours does that make it more difficult? I want them refinished to the dual colour oem look. Thanks |

It depends if you want it done cheaply or done properly. IMHO, the only place in the UK to really refurbish alloy rims properly is Lepsons. They strip the rim down to bare metal, recoat / respray, re-diamond cut if necessary and can even do the laser etching that some rims, such as AMG rims, have on them. The cost for 4 rims requiring both diamond cutting and laser etching works out to about £800 in total. And they look like they just came out of the factory....
