MSS Sports Adjustable

Is anyone running these?

I've currently got the Eibach Pro Kit fitted, with a 25mm front and 20mm read drop, supplied by Evolve. Considering changing to the MSS Adjustable. The rear drop is perfect on the Eibach, but the front drop still looks a little high, doesn't seem to match the rears which is annoying, an extra 5mm on the front would be perfect. I don't want the car slammed, just fronts matched to rears. Also wondering what difference the MSS made to the handling? Would help me justify the extra cost of fitting again if the handling was improved. My car is a 2018 non-comp.

I have them.

Front still sits a little high with MSS.

H&R 550i springs give the perfect drop, but MSS are comfy

Do you have any pics with them fitted? Have you dropped it as low as possible all round? I really like the rear on the Eibach springs, just wish the fronts matched. I’m not overly keen on the look of the F90 on the 550 springs, it’s a bit more slammed than I’d like it.

Did you notice any improvement in handling over stock with the MSS?

I never drove the car stock.

Here are a few pics, not a great but gives you an idea on the ride height.

I am very happy with the ride comfort.

That’s great, thanks! Mine is also Azurite, good choice!

I can’t really tell from the pictures if it’s any lower than the Eibach springs I have on it now. Can I be really cheeky and ask if you could measure from the top of the front tyre to the arch or floor to arch?

Also, how did you get rid of the front plate holder without leaving holes in the bumper? Have you had it filled in? I to lose my plate holder and fit a small front plate, but looks like the holder is bolted to the bumper?

I had MSS for a week and did not like them. The suspension felt "nervous" while taking quick corners, it was higher than advertised and the sent wrong springs at first. I now have KW HAS and much happier.

How do you find the handling on the KW HAS from the MSS? I've got Eibach springs on it currently, and the car feels a bit floaty over some bumper B roads we have hear in the UK, quite hard to explain, but it just doesn't feel right, and the front is much higher than the back which is annoying. I don't want a slammed look, a finger gap above each wheel would be perfect, currently it's a finger gap at the back and a two finger gap at the front.

The MSS felt closer to M5 non Comp OEM. I did not like the snappy/nervous type of behavior when changed directions quick. KW has it drilled down better and you have the height adjustability if you want to go higher. The picture is not on the lowest setting with KW.

KW HAS it is then! It's also cheaper than the MSS.

When you say snappy, how do you mean? I'm mainly doing it for handling improvements, but an equal drop that you seem to be able to get with the KW HAS is a big plus!

Mine is a 2018 non comp. I'll get them ordered and get Suspension Secrets over here to do a full geo.

Thanks for your input!

I'd also look into BMW OEM M performance HAS kit. That's what I have on my car, been really happy with it. It actually made my comp ride better (less harsh) and at the same time handles better. Very happy with it!

I believe the BMW M Performance is made by KW, so I'd imagine they are pretty similar? I'm looking to upgrade to a 21 M5 Comp possibly so the M Performance may be a good shout to keep warranty and move it over to the new car. Is the drop similar to the KW HAS?

Apparently they are, i ordered both, and having them side by side, M performance ones looked more sophisticated. Kw reviews were mixed, plus I wanted to keep my warranty.

Thank you for your kind words sir.

They are pretty much maxed out. I have about 2-3mm left both front and rear until they cannot go any lower.

Thank you!

I'm just wondering if the price difference is worth it for the M Performance.

The KW HAS is £860 and the M Performance is £1600, so basically double the price.
