That was the tires I was going to run on a set of drag wheels but the ideal size is 18” (28” tall tire) and 18” will not fit in front. Most of the 19” tires are 27” tall and the 20” tires are 29” tall.

Best you could do is 20” R888R upfront (285/35) and 18” MT ET SS in rear (305/40). 27.9” tall in front and 28.0” rear.

I just didn’t want to run mismatch tires or possibly snap an axle.

Best option might be the R888R square in 285/35/20

I know. What I meant in my comment is that the 20” are too tall. The 275/40/20 and 305/30/20 are both 29” tall. That is 1” taller than stock and I wouldn’t do that. Only the 18” options in MT et street S/S match the OEM 28”

Has anyone tried running even a square 275 setup?
The transmission should not freak out because of the height, it's a ZF tranny- I am assuming, unless you know otherwise. Let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks

I used ET Streets II on my F10 M5 and loved them at the 1/4 track.

285-35-19 square

You need to put spacers front (i think i put 10mm) , otherwise the tires will rub on one of the suspension arms on both side.

For the wheels I put 19x10.5 front and rear. i don't remember the offset.

I haven't seen a big increase in my 60 foot. I often try the lunch control with it. did no try to lunch in rwd only.

The tires are difficult to balance.

Do not forget to make a smoke show with the 4 tires (like 20 sec and do a permutation front rear) and let them rest 24 hours before using them. Recommended by Mickey ...

When you go at drag, don't need to make big smoke show. like 5 -10 sec each time. i don't une the tyre on road. just at track.

My two cents is that unless you are making 800+ wheel I don’t see drags improving the times much. Most add some weight and with AWD it is hard to see a big improvement. I tried 20” drags on my W213 E63 that was 700 whp and my times didn’t improve at all over MPS4S. Same thing with a RS7.

I think it would be necessary with hybrid turbos but not stock turbos.

Just try square R888R in 285/35/20

I think I am going to try to 285/35R19 for MT's all the way around. At 26.9" it should work unless you guys tried it and it doesnt.
