License Plate Frame Thread

Here in the US, 'frames' are usually used to fix the license plates on the bumpers. Over the years I have seen all kinds of crazy designs, messages, etc... so I am starting this thread to start compiling what you guys have put on your M3s. Let's see...

You don't NEED a frame, only the bracket. The frame is purely cosmetic. As it stands at the moment I am using no frame at all.

+1. Not a fan of frames, especially anything embellished.

On my GTI I had a frame that said "My other car is a Wart Hog". Still debating if I will put it on my M or not.

I picked up black OEM ///M3 frames. I think they look nice.

Repeat thread...

Anyway I chose a thin rimmed, black painted, stainless steel frame directly from the parts counter at BMW. Not out of lack of creativity. I think it is perfect and once my chrome side gill centers are gone (front grills are already black) I will have ditched all the chrome that does not belong in the first place and the license plate frame will match nicely.

+1 on the slimline black frame. The simpler, the better!

(... and sorry for the repeat thread...I had looked but did not find anything)

Use google to search this forum. Pick a few search terms add in booleans such as AND, OR, etc. then add "site:m3post.com" (without quotes) at the end of your query. Works wonderfully!
