Time for A battery recall.
Hello all.....don't shoot the messenger.
As you may know my 2018 M5 battery failed prematurely. I predicted this will be an issue for all 2018/19 M5's over the next year or so and for the rest as time goes on. My dad had his car in for routine service and they found..... "Battery Replacement: Fault stored for the battery isolation switch which is built into the battery. $2798.05" So was my issue the switch? My dealer did not say, nor give me a report after the service. What the hell? Oh and he has the coolant tank leak. Estimate $873. They are ordering the parts, good luck getting a battery. I am truly sorry I bought out the lease on this car. Mike
