1/4mi 60-130 Dragy Tips and Tricks

I wanted to start a new thread where we can share all of our tips and tricks that we are using to make our cars quicker and faster. From launch techniques to shift settings lets use the thread to assist each other in getting the best times and achieving our performance goals.
I follow a few of you guys on Dragy which is an excellent resource for comparative data.
Dragy Name: MON5TER
Best 60-130 6.71 DA216FT
2018 M5 JB4-Custom Map 6-Project Gamma intake-resonator removed for custom X pipe-E40

How are you all achieving your best 60-130? What settings? I use 4WD Sport, start in 3rd gear at 3k rpm then nail it, its give the turbos full boost as the MPH passes 60mph.

What will be interesting is if the lc function shifts the best for 60-130 vs manual. This has been a discussion for some time now.

All of my quickest times have been on a deliberate 60-130 run, not within a 1/4 run whereby I was using LC

1/4 mile runs in low ambient temps, LC flags come on, let off the brake quick, it seems to build boost through 1st gear better instead of blowing all 4 tires off. Ive been cutting 1.59 like this, with the heavy stock wheels.

Also, probably the most important thing Ive learned recently. Do 3 runs when testing, check log, make sure its good, do a cool down (lower IAT) and hammer out another run. A lot of the time, my timing comes up and the 3rd run is the fastest.

Interesting, mine is exact opposite, i had my best run on my first pull. Best time: 6.66

Everything in sports plus, and letting the car shift it self with LC.

xHp Stage 3 TCU, Catless DPs, bootmod3, KN Drop ins, and removed Carbon filters. Car pulls well at the top, but my issue is down bottom 😂.
Everyone seems to get 2.7-2.8s from the LC mine doesnt want to get under 3s. 🤦

You’re probably over the 100 LC limit. Try brake boosting it manually maybe? Mines the opposite… LC’s hard (for now) then 5th gear, timing could be better…

If it makes you feel any better I'm in same position. All of my short times suck. Everyone gets 1.5x-1.6x 60ft and i average 1.7x My 0-60 averages 3.2😯 But in good air I can trap 135mph so No complaints. I still have stock downpipes.

Its moving for stock downpipes! But yea its past the 100 launches. I actually switched my tune back to stock till i replace my Spark Plugs. I did a launch control on stock ended up with 4.1 secs. Then 5 minutes later i put the car in Drive brake boosted and it did 3.4secs.

So I'm guessing that pretty much answers the whole "does xHP tcu tune remove the 100 launch cap". Shame

Best 60ft launch technique?
Does anyone air down their tires a bit or keep "stock" pressures?
I have a mix of 100/E85, it should be close to ambient late tonight so I'm going to try to get a decent 1/4 run in.

only if you need to but some times airing down just doesn't work. Fortunately we have the ability to heat up the tires if need be. Lately I've been airing down to get best ride and I notice i keep going lower. 32 all around right now cold. Bet 28 psi would be fine for the rears. Not sure if xhp has the ability to change launch control rpm but i know there is a way to remove torque limiters when launching. Have a feeling we can do some sick times if we had slicks/drag radials and half shaft upgrades with editing the software.

Dragy calculates the DA.
No flash tune because of warranty issues.
