Project Gamma or MSR Intakes

I'm trying to figure out what the best intake is without spending 3k. I daily drive in the mid west, rain snow etc. concerned about water or something getting into the filter. That's the only thing stopping me. Really want to hear the turbos and apparently blow off valves are a no go for these cars.

This is my personal experience .... I do find MSR to be slightly louder than PG, I'm not sure if it's due to the tubing material (MSR = Stainless Steel vs PG = Silicone) and/or the filter type. With the said, I personally find MSR to be most attractive and I am an MSR fan so maybe I am biased. I think end of day if pricing is the key factor, PG will be much cheaper and net similar if not the same results as MSR. Both loook sexy.

As for rain, I ran my MSR for two years and never had any issues or concerns. My F10 M5 was a daily driver. I did a few times remove the filter to see if water was getting through and I did not see anything.

Hope that helps a little.

I believe pg now has carbon fiber piping. But I'm not convinced intakes give hp. I did 10.1@139 with stock air boxes 🤷🏾*♂️.

No lol

Evolve stage 2 e30
Evolve tcu
Keller DPs
Remus Catback
AFE Filter 24-91131 with 6inch Velocity Stack
Project Gamma intake
Just noticed we practically have the same cosmetic upgrades also, same paint etc. pretty dope, but I'll be doing those intakes and how about that evolve tune for daily driving and Beating the shit out of the car? Just stage 1 93 octane simple stuff for now, easy to install and have fun, thanks

No issues with mine. I've been running them on my F10 and now F90 for over 4 years and I live in Washington, one of the rainiest states.

Of course you have to be careful going through puddles and not following too close on heavy rain but they work great. Plus they make the car look so good.

You'd have to take out the bars and cut the tubes. I remember reading the bars aren't super critical but you should independently verify.

Bms sits open inside engine bay so don't see how it can help? as it will heat soak. I have had AWE, than PG and finally Dinan.

PG
Best bang for the buck

Performance On par with Dinan without inlets,

Sounds Better than Dinan,

Maintenance more than stock or Dinan,

Looks Mean but not for everyone,

Dinan
Best high end intake,

Performance on par with PG & Turbo inlets is a big plus and might surpass PG when combined,

Sounds Better than stock but not as good as PG,

Maintenance similar to stock,

Looks amazing and will please everyone.
No offense to any one but F*** Project Gamma and their cheap intakes. You get what you pay for and I had them. They were okay but these guys think their elite and they are not. They look cheap and Eventuri /Dinan is way better
