Please if u don't mind. Just need to to know how to take it apart. Thx
Did you already figure out how to swap the wheels? If not I can help a bit. It's super easy. Key is to take pictures of where all the cables go. Other than that it's just a hand full of T screws and a 16mm bolt and a long skinny flat blade to pop the air bag loose.
I did but autopilot still didn't work after swapping the brain.

Wonder if something got unplugged or pinched. Do you get any errors. Didn't you swap your switches over?

Or do you think it just lacks the pressure sensor? If that's the case, can Filip code it to not need the pressure sensor?

No errors normal driving but whenever I turn the autopilot on car then I get drivers assistance not available even though lane assist and BSM works fine.

How hard is this to do yourself? I've changed paddle shifters but wasn't sure about rerouting all that wiring if I take the whole wheel off.

So Vivid got back to me and said unless it's my oem steering wheel modified there will always be chance of errors with buttons and only way to rectify is to use cars actual steering wheel.

Plan is to send my core to them and they will modify my core. I will keep using the steering wheel I have right now from them. Once I have my oem wheel back they will provide a good discount for all the trouble. Only issue now is that this whole process will take months again.

I actually like this a lot more than crazy shapes, CF and bunch of lights. Good work.

Did you just end up re-wrapping the oem wheel? Who did the work?
I was planning on getting the M performance wheel, but realized you lose the autopilot and heating function. How is your heating with the alcantara?

Do you lose Autopilot with the M Performance Pro steering wheel? I just had it installed and now Autopilot shows up as N/A.

I started looking at AZA wheels, another custom shop out of the Ukraine selling on eBay. Couple hundred bucks to thousands. The wheel I plan to get runs 3K but is very very nice. They said build time is currently 55 days and 2 weeks to ship. Buddy got one made for an M8 and it was a work of art. Never thought I would pursue upgrading my wheel but worth doing now that I have studied it.

Just got a wheel from Vivid and I have heat and driver's assistance in my car. The new wheel was missing a wire that my stock wheel has. One is clearly for heat, is the other some kind of sensor related to lane keeping? I transferred all modules over and everything is plugged in but when I try to use lane keeping it just says "driving assistance reduced" and won't turn on.

Did you ever get yours back and is it working 100%?

Exact same issue. I sent my oem wheel to them and they are working on modifying it. Process started back in fall last year and we are still working on it. SMH
