Is there a diy on how to remove or replace buttons and other hardware? I want to change one button and also swap heat and Lane assist brain from old wheel to new as I get some errors sometimes. Thanks

I can try to take some step by step pics but I have always just swapped buttons since the E9X steering wheels days

It was a little more complicated than I remembered. Honestly you would need to use a 16mm socket to remove the steering wheel and T20 torx for all the screws. I didnt do such a great job documenting it sorry. Installed.

Hi there..for the display to work with the light rev and everything..do you need the coding from bmw or ..I had on the f10 m5 before everything work like oem ...is it the same GTAX

It's come with a Bluetooth module which connects to OBD2 port and that's is how it collects data. Thx

Out of town but I will when back. Also vivid hasn't been great with following through. They delayed the order by over 2-3 months, heat function and auto pilot doesn't work also led gave up on me which I replaced myself. They offered me the cost for led swap and wouldn't offer anything extra. I have told them to get me a new wheel ASAP, or refund the core charge along with led cost, and whatever for heat and auto pilot if they are not willing give me a full refund and I'll send their wheel back. It has been frustrating to deal with them. Waiting on their response now.

send it to cobywheel in GA. wraps OG wheel in alcantara, does 12oclock stripe, looks sick. and much cheaper than BMW wheel. And retains heated function.

Did you already figure out how to swap the wheels? If not I can help a bit. It's super easy. Key is to take pictures of where all the cables go. Other than that it's just a hand full of T screws and a 16mm bolt and a long skinny flat blade to pop the air bag loose.
