Vband leak with Project Gamma Downpipes

I have project Gamma lower downpipes mated to stock upper downpipes. I'm on my second leak whereby it's leaking at the Vband clamps on the turbo. You cant hear it but you can smell in inside the car when AC is on. Is this a normal issue and they just need to be tightened a few times or did I miss some gasket that needed to be replaced etc?
