Think you set yourself up for the criticism here--the guys look like just tech nerds who really didn't make offensive comments to me. Remember anytime you change the look of a car or mod it you will be subject to criticism or praise as tastes vary from person to person. Adding flash can subject oneself to getting smash....but, it is entertaining to see what happens behind the scenes.

Agree but would add any place of work. I would be surprised to hear of any decent sized office where there aren't instances of people talking negatively about other people. Life is far more difficult when you let it bother you, especially when they aren't talking about you but instead your car.

Seems like young guys just making real life an internet message board where they crack jokes.

They don't know you so they are just using something new in their work space as joke material not personal direct insults.

I would’ve said all the same things. Especially the “Agent of SHIELD” thing. Makes me cringe as well.

Totally agree with the techs on everything they said and would've said the same, or worse, if it were me on that video.

Why do you care so much about what other people think about not washing your car? Seems like you're a little obsessed about that.

Hoestyly, how big was the passive-aggressive sign and what was being discussed when the audio begins? They clearly don't want to deal with you for good reason and are mocking your own behavior in anticipation.

Why on earth do you have an agents of shield emblem/sticker on your car, you are an adult, not a 15yr old boy. Come on now.

Seems to me the OP is just a whiner crying for attention. I see no foul play here.

Oh wait he's a Agent of SHIELD.

The only thing that actually matters is did they ultimately wash the car or not?

If they did I would let the dealer know. If not then just grow a pair and stop being a whiny bitch.

It's totally legit to tell a dealer not to wash your car. And since most dealers have a track record of ignoring such requests, it's also legit to leave an obnoxiously large sign to remind them. I've even seen enthusiasts spell out NO WASH on the exterior with painters tape.

But, if you do that you should also fully expect the techs to consider you an anal retentive douchebag. And you should fully not give a fuck.

I'm just curious, but why wouldn't someone want their car washed?

Dealer only use brush machine to wash your wash. Cause all the scratches.

I also wonder if they will think I'm an anal retentive A'hole when I tell everybody twice 'no wash'. Then my SA comes up and is like - "no way this looks this good - it is like you just picked it up" and that's why I don't really care if they do, 'cause us anal retentives have a lot less of those swirlies.

And even if they hand wash it, they are using the same dirty mop and gritty water as for the last 100 cars - no thanks.
