In the beginning he communicated well, was very detailed, sounded like a family man attending his sons' soccer games over the weekends and overall seemed to be a good person. Last text I got from him was on 1/25 that the skirts were off and he was taking them to a professional packaging store to be sent to me...I have not heard from him since then, nor have I received the skirts. I have tried to call him, but my calls go direct to voicemail so I assume he has blocked my number as my calls never ring. I've left a message with no response.

It is very upsetting to me to be in this position. I consider myself to be a very savvy consumer and a good judge of character. Be careful on your interaction with these fake sellers and protect yourself and do your research.

Has anyone else experience this before in this forum? How do you go about reporting something like this?

Should have used PayPal where seller pays a fee to receive. That way u have recourse in the event the seller doesn't send u the item. Using venmo is like using family and friends payment option on PayPal. Once u send there nothing u can do to get your money back its literally like throwing it down the drain.

Are you guys sure his identity wasn't stolen and used for this purpose? Seems far too idiotic even for an American to have all your personal info out there available to the public and start scamming.


I could be wrong though.

Sorry for the debacle OP. I've sold a bunch of stuff on here and sometimes it was local pickup and sometimes shipped, but all transactions were conducted thru PayPal.
