Tyre pressures ?
Chaps,
On my door jam sticker, it states 41/42 psi for the tyre pressures, which i think is quite high, what does your sticker say ?, my car is a 2019 Comp with M Drivers pack, which i thought may be the reason for the high pressures recommendation ?, an thoughts, TIA |

Hi simon.
Here's the tyre pressure sticker on my 2019 M5C. Says 32/33. So much lower than yours. I don't have the M Driver's pack, so maybe that's the difference..? |

I even put my glasses on to double check my sticker this morning, lol, but it definitely states 41 psi front and rear. Will pop a photo onto this thread, for others to look at, if they come up against this, cheers buddy |

Hi guys, my door sticker is like this one, but my tyre pressure monitor in the car is telling me my tyres are under inflated and need to be at 2.8 bar, and everytime I get in the car a tyre pressure issue comes up on the screen. Any thoughts?

I have done that, plus, when cold, the computer is showing 2.4 bar in both the fronts, yet one is showing amber!... I have spoken to BMW UK about this and they have no idea what is going on! Typical!

Im sure there is a software update for this problem, as Fireblade had it done, as he suffered the same problem. |

I think I'm going to book it in with the dealer and get them to sort it. More of an annoyance than anything with the notification popping up everytime I get in the car!

Yep think the SW update is a good bet. Perhaps there are different tyre pressure trigger levels in the software based on having the drivers pack or not..
Simon when you dropped your pressures has it triggered the TPM alarm? Happy New Year BTW! |

But intend to do so this weekend. Havent been out in the car over Christmas. Going to try 36 all round, but i dont envisage any problems from the TPM, fingers crossed. I know there was a faulty batch of cars/software related, TPM related, as Nick/Fireblade had it sorted on his last car. Will report back on the findings after ive dropped the pressures, as i dont intend driving around with 41psi cold, even more when warm, as they feel just too hard to me, and i cant see myself trying out the M Drivers package down the A6. But i have to admit, i like knowing i could knock off 190mph if i really fancied |

What I have found on mine, I changed the tyre settings, and set it to 192 winter tyres, and on that setting, the computer does not give a recommended tyre pressure, and just shows each tyre pressure. Since I have set it like this I have had no issues with the TPM.
I don't like having it like this so am still looking to have the software update. |

2019 M5C without MDrivers pack. Door plate states for 285/35/ZR20 a psi of 33.
Yet when the iDrive is set to the correct rear tyre size, I get messages staying that pressure is low and to drive below 80mph as low pressure from Tom's. Tpms is showing as requiring 41 psi. So I have to set the tyres in use as 'other' |

Had my idrive updated today. TPMS now working correctly i.e. as per door card 32F/33R for my 2019 CP (non drivers pack). The recommended pressure changes according to the tyres air temp

Hi all, I hope to clear things up for you.
When You order the M Drivers Package the Sticker gets replaced by the one with the higher tire pressure values. The 2.8 bar (40.6 psi) tire pressure is meant for high speed runs over 250 kph (155 mph). I got this confirmed today. For your daily driving you can lower the tire pressure - but do not forget to pump 'em up when you are about to go well over 155 mph. The "pressure low" thing with the non M Drivers Package having set the recommended pressure is an iDrive problem as someone mentioned earlier and can be solved with an update.
