Wow they managed to make it uglier. Awesome. Ugh.
The cluster is atrocious.

Honestly, both the cluster and the glossy plastics in the center stack look like they were lifted from a Honda.

The emergency flashers button is bulbous and fugly.

Maybe BMW senses that VW is vulnerable and is trying to overtake them as the Honda of Germany.
I want to emphasize how shit that cluster is. On second look it appears that they intend to use a TFT display/needle but they've left semi-circular physical gauges. That is ridiculous.

Also, ditto the poster above about the door locks. Let's just take literally every distinctive BMW "thing" and make it more like the econobox that the zombies all know and love.

It doesn't look like there is a significant improvement over the current F30 interior.

No likey. But then again, I may no longer be in their target demographic. Personally I feel the interior could use an update. It has been more or less the same for the last decade. Looks similar to my E90 M3.

maybe bmw knows their customers lease once and move on to another brand after so they dont need to switch it up much since the customer base is always new customers.

I don't mind door locks being on the door... I know its blasphemy but it certainly isn't illogical.

Still not seeing switches for cooled seats which better arrive this gen.

So far looks disappointing. Let's just hope they don't lower the material quality even more.

This whole "weight savings" thing is turning into excuse for "money saving". Seriously am i the only one who feels the f30 3 series have low quality interior for the premium price?!

Looks like BMW are doing an Audi, make a new model, but only tweak it slightly, as it were only a LCI upgrade.
I'm sure the changes are bigger than they appear, like on the new 7 series.
Very modest, almost underwhelming changes on the first spy pictures, in RL it's more clear and obvious. But it looks safe.. And dull atm, still early though.

Love the new "rocket thruster" taillight design.
Kind of '50s retro. Excellent.

I don't get this semi digital cluster idea. So the part from 0 to 1500rpm will be digital and then continue as an ordinary cluster? Same for the speed above 200kph. Why not just make it completely digital... Or is this some kind of entry level cluster equipment and you have to pay extra, if you wanna get the full digital display. Time will tell I guess.

Not feeling the cluster design at all. For everything else, too soon to say.

Would it have killed to make a completely digital cluster? I mean, seriously?

Probably lci will be full digital. Typical BMW and its lci bs...

Let's hope it has led tailights standard

They've been playing out the same plan since early 2000's.

Dear god they need to improve the rental grade plastic everywhere interior. The competition went up, they went down. Junk.
