I don't recall seeing this in the past with previous M5s, but usually the Competition Package didn't come out as quickly as the model was launched.

My guess is that they want to clear out old '18 inventory first. I am hoping that residuals go back to a reasonable amount for the '19 Comp Edition, but it may not be until the end of the year.

Out of curiosity, what does "CA" stand for? The A is for advisor I'm sure...

BMW Bloomfield tried charging me $2200/month today with a marked up money factor and over sticker on a 19. Sigh.

MF is .00166. They brought it back down a few days after this since dealerships were complaining.

Back in May, Bloomfield was asking 10k over - not surprised they are also messing with the MF.
There are definitely dealers in the area that will work with you. If you want recommendations PM me, otherwise I started a thread back in May asking the very question.
Good luck.

Yeah I usually always buy from mamorneck they have always been the most honest. The sales manager is pretty transparent. I give her a number and she sees if she can get to it or tell me I am not being realistic.

I try park ave but they are just pains in the ass.

I ended up buying instead of leasing. There was just no way to me feel comfortable leasing for an extra ~$400 per month than what I know it will cost when the residuals come back up for the 2019s.

Has anyone received lease pricing on leftover 18s? If so what does it look like?

Leftover 2018 M5 $114k MSRP, $7k discount and $2500 loyalty and fleet rebate. $1399/mth, 36 months, 10,000 mi/yr, 8.625% sales tax in the payment. Sign and drive only 1st payment and DMV due. I'm asking for car at invoice plus loyalty which would be about $100,000.

The lease program isn't great on the 2018s and horrible on the 2019 Competition. I hope programs change on the 2019 Competition in the near future. My 2015 M5 Comp Pkg was $118k MSRP and the ED lease was $1,123/mth sign and drive! I miss those days. Good Luck.

I'm not expecting the '19 Comp residual to drop this month with so many '18s still on the lot.

Hopefully I am wrong.

Money factors can change either way and/or be manipulated by the dealer (within limits), but residuals reflect the effect of time and M cars do have a history of hefty depreciation in a market which already quickly devalues luxo sedans.
Car manufacturers control and often subsize the residuals just like they can MFs. M cars used to have really low residuals in the 2000s and then BMW started supporting them in 2010s. But it seems BMW has made a number of changes to leasing to make them less attractive but more profitable, including the recent residuals change and the elimination of the MSDs.

I read that they were temporarily back in some of the east coast states through July? Do you know if they brought them back permanently?

Anyone get updated lease terms for 2019 M5 Comp? I think the new residuals came out yesterday 9/5/18 or maybe today 9/6/18.

I can confirm this is true. Im on the East Coast and my lease is up next month. I got a mailer by BMSFS telling me that I can use my MSDs on the new BMW as well if I were to order one.
