I haven't driven anything in 5 days so maybe that's part of it, but holy cow the car feels so fast today. It is the 1st perfect fall day (60 and very low humidity) I've had with this car. I noticed this with my previous car, but RWD M6 and cold tires didn't let me really feel it much.

Even my 6 year old commented it felt faster.

Interesting side note is in "efficient" engine mode, 1/2 throttle actually gives you WOT. Sport+ seems more linear.

And I just discovered that in Sport+ and S3 if you roll off the throttle just the right way on the up-shift you get way better sound. I can't really describe what I'm doing different vs before. If you try the same technique though in Sport and S2 you get a very annoying and jolting laggy shift.

This time of year is tough. In the morning: "oh man, tires are slippery time for the all-seasons." In the afternoon: "nice, all 4 tires are up around 110, let's have some fun, so glad I didn't put the all-seasons on yet."
