AutoTecknic Carbon Fiber Rear Wheel Arch Extension - thoughts?
IIRC in Europe it's required because of some width requirement, not sure if that's true or not. Anyways, feedback on this if it's good quality or even stupid-looking? I am still wary of Autotecknic crappy rebranded Alibaba products.

Personally, I like it….installed a pair for a client, compliments well with supporting mods, and it’s different….. remove it when bored, throw it back on when bored lol

I know I’m late to the party on this, but +1 with Jose on both counts.
Plus, if you ask me, this is just putting CF where there doesn’t need to be CF, just for the sake of putting CF. If you like it, that’s all that matters, but you’ve got a very nice ride, this just cheapens it I think. Looks like they came from Discount Auto Parts or AutoZone and was installed on a bagged Honda Accord with no muffler. The above photo isn’t doing the look any favors IMO. Even if this did look good, the proportions of the filled out portion of the arch look off, though I understand that it’s probably to prevent rubbing in the front and all four corners are manufactured to the same size. Don’t mean to sound harsh, but just my $0.02.

Kind of like adding front bumper reflectors to a Euro spec car

I had them on mine but they did rub a tiny bit with 295s on there. And now that I’m lowered, forget it about it. I’m admittedly the oddball who actually liked the look but there are certainly much more folks with well respected opinions contrary! So model me at your own risk

NCRob is your color BSM? Do you have any carbon fiber parts (lips/skirts/diffuser/spoiler) or they all gloss black? I'm trying to figure out if I want to have carbon parts or glossy black because I'm not sure how the carbon will look against the BSM.
Also, what springs did you use to lower? Thanks! |
