I have used them and certainly no issues and plan on going stage one with them in September. From the tuning point of view I think you will find that they are very well respected on this forum and that says a lot. I know a couple of the guys on here are running the stage one with no issues. Regarding the suspension, are you looking at the MSS setup. If so a lot here suggest other possible options. Hope this helps and have you thought about stage one first and see how you go. For an extra 50 bhp to me it seems like a lot of extra expense and then having to worry about reliability and warranty work. A stage one at least you can take it off quite quickly if needed. Enjoy whatever you decide!

I am looking at the mss setup for the suspension. My goals in order of importance 1) not to negatively impact ride quality (why I didn't buy a comp) 2) eliminate wheel gap 3) improve handling Regarding Evolve stage 1 vs stage 2: - I need to improve the sound of the car - 50hp with no wirght gain is a pretty hefty increase You make a good case for going stage 1 as warranty is a big concern for me. I thought you lose warranty with stage 1 as well.? |

I am deciding between MSS and H&R 550i springs. The drop looks perfect on the H&R |

I am going for stage 2 vs stage 1 mostly for the sound benefit and then for the performance gain. I just wonder if down pipes will be enough for the sound. It's more than 20 to 30hp with tune and Downpipes by the way. It is also a big jump in torque. Stage 1 adds 70hp Stage 2 adds 110hp & 150lb/ft on a stock vehicle... That is a huge difference in torque Last edited by BrntRubber; 04-10-2021 at 08:51 AM.. |

Am I reading this wrong as stage one looks to add to torque numbers too to around 725. I could be wrong but I was under the impression its not just bhp you gain from stage one. Looking at the chart that's what I seem to read from it:

I think I have had a chat with you about this and love evolve. I have attached my most recent dragy results and numbers speak for themselves. I have been tuned for 25k miles. 12k eurocharged stage 1 and 13k evolve stage 2. Evolve has been a pleasure to work with and if u want more u can get custom tuning done as well and have utku noa help u out.

my stage one Evolve runs 6.2 100-200 and 10.5 quarter mile so not far off figures of stage two, the 100-200 was uphill too. Dynoed on couple of independents (as their one not built yet) one ran 722bhp other 738bhp

Hi Lee, dont suppose you had a conversation with Paul regarding standard LCI cars ?. Just wondering what could be done with an LCI car, leaving OPFs in. I know pops and bangs are off the menu, unless mapped, but dont want to get into that at the minute .

When I spoke to Imran at Evolve about more drama (pops/burbles/bangs), he said they could not do anything about that as its something that I wanted. He said there was a little extra anyway with their map with the extra boost I think he said (cant be sure). I will have to ask him again! I don't want to go crazy but a bit more deeper sound would be nice and burbles help. Not so fussed about the pops/bangs, but burbles yes please....
