Wait confused, you said you dropped additional weight in partial with wheels.... I was assuming you kicked the CL's.

This is the 991.2 TTS billet wheel.
It is a bad dude for the size. The 992 TTS wheel is 61mm, so it’s larger, but not significant. As a reference, you will only gain roughly 45rwhp going from the 991.2 TTS billet wheel to a Mac Daddy 68mm Tial wheel. Again, on pump 93. Add meth, 109,etc and it will gain more. |

Porsche just released the Drag Cd and base weight without any options :
Cd went from 0.31 to 0.33 Weight went to 3636Lbs. Add the typical glass top, Berm, FAL , vented seats and you have 3716LBS. The added weight is necessary when son of 918 arrives. The weight and size adds prestages the space and strength needed.Trans is good to go. That series, although even more weight will be added due to motors and batteries....will be very interesting in raw acceleration. |

“The MAN “ at Porsche:
"We have said the next 911 will add a hybrid version. That will be the highest-performance 911 of all," Blume told Top Gear. "So it won't have the extra weight of batteries, it will be a non-plug-in hybrid. We have the experience to do that—look at the racing 919." 911 boss August Auchleitner has already confirmed that the hybrid 992 will adhere to Porsche's electrified model formula, which involves a disc-shaped electric motor slotted between the car's eight-speed PDK transmission and flat-six engine. Said six-cylinder mill will presumably be more powerful than the one coming to the 2020 911 Turbo S, which Car and Driver reports will produce 641 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. |

I had no idea CL wheels needed that much torque. I did a quick look for a torque wrench, 100 to 600 ft lbs, 4 FEET long! I guess with that length a pipe extension isn't needed!

I'll chime in Vic
I still have my yr13 m5, but I added a yr15 gt3. best decision I made. the turboS is super fast but to me is soulless. the gt3 has Soul and sound. just my opinion

Ive had both and agree about "feel" . I wont say the Turbo S lacks soul, instead it lacks sound and thats easily remediated. All my Turbo S's had modded exhausts to bring back that LeMans style sound. Is it as good as a GT3- no but it fixes my main issue. The GT3 is more track focused and really requires one to drive it at 8 or 9/10ths to get the rpms in the right range. Its not a cruiser around town with its lower tq rating... for me. Its a great car but more race and less GT while the Turbo is the opposite.

I have had a 991.1 C2S and a 991.2 C2S and I can tell you that the 991.2 generation had a ton of significant improvements; the nav and electronics, the sport response treatment on the steering wheel, the rear axel steer, obviously more power from one generation to the next.
but the thing that really made the difference to me was a much more compliant suspension and just generally better build quality. I would say that a car is a silly thing to put yourself into financial strain over and frankly the simple mention of that makes me thing perhaps you should apply a bit of delayed gratification and buy the car you want when you can comfortably afford it. These are depreciating assets and ya, the 991.2 is cooler but guess what, the 992 is way cooler than any 991 turbo model. After a few weeks of driving a car you acclimate, those difference fade away. |

I just added a DSC suspension controller just for the Launch Control Option. Was very surprised what Real Time Control did for the ride and handling as I was very happy with the stock system. Took my 991.2 TTS to another level. Many have reported it cut 2 seconds off of their times at VIR. ~ 5 to 7 off the Ring. |
